An Interview With Ebony, Head Receptionist at Olivia James

At Olivia James, we like to do things a little differently. So rather than us telling you about the agency in the usual way, we thought we’d let you hear from the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, our head receptionist Ebony. She’s been with us for four months now, and in that short time she’s already become an expert in juggling calls, helping clients, and supporting the girls. In this blog, Ebony answers some of the most common questions about the agency and shares her insider perspective.

Who are the most popular girls at the agency right now?

Right now the phone barely stops ringing for Jennifer, Lexi, Cassia, and Holly. These four are constantly in demand, and it’s not hard to see why. They all bring something a little different to the table, from looks to their personalities. The feedback I receive is always amazing and they all make sure they are on time and look amazing.

Are there any new girls clients should look out for?

Yes! We’ve just added Alexa to the site, who is already proving popular. She has a great body and is really nice and down to earth. Currently, we are interviewing and vetting four new girls, and they’re all very different. One is a dominatrix, another has that cool blonde indie-chick vibe, and another is a curvy Brazilian model. Once they’re through the process, clients are going to have even more exciting choices.

What are the quietest and busiest times of the day?

The busiest time without question is late at night, between 11pm and 3am, the phones do not stop. I think that’s when people are either coming back from the pub or taking a break on night shifts. Another surprising busy slot is early mornings, between 6:30am and 8am, when some people want to see a girl before heading off to work. My tip, if you’d prefer to have your pick of the girls, I’d recommend booking around teatime. That’s when it’s a little quieter and you’ll have more choice of which girl to meet without worrying that she is already reserved.

What have we implemented to improve our service?

The rota has been a real game-changer, because clients now know in advance which girls are working and it’s cut down on disappointments. We’ve also introduced categories, which makes it so much easier to filter girls by hair colour, age, body type, and nationality. And then there are the videos. The clients love them because they get to see a girl’s personality and know the photos are genuine. It's helped build trust and reassures everyone they’re not looking at fake images.

What do we do differently to other agencies for the girls?

We like to look after our girls properly. After a month with us, they get a free photoshoot to update their profile and keep everything fresh. We also have strict security measures in place, including Client Eye, to make sure bookings are safe. And one of my favourite touches is the goodie bags we give new escorts. They’re full of essentials and a few nice extras to help them get started on the right foot.

What are the future plans for Olivia James?

Expansion is definitely on the horizon. We’re working on revamping our location system so that we can offer our services in the North East, Yorkshire, the Midlands, Scotland, and Wales. On top of that, we’re about to launch a members’ area where clients can sign up for free. Members will get exclusive pictures and videos, plus rewards like discounts after a certain number of bookings.

Do you have any advice for clients during the booking process?

Yes, a few simple things make the process smooth for everyone. Please always be respectful and kind. If you’re rude to me, then I can’t trust you to behave like a gentleman with the girls. Be prepared to provide proof of your location, whether that’s a hotel booking confirmation or a letter showing your home address. This is purely a safety measure. And while deposits aren’t normally required, we will ask for one on overnight bookings to make sure the girl’s time is secured.

Do you have any advice for escorts looking to join the agency?

Make sure all the information you provide is accurate and up to date, including your images and ID to confirm you’re over 18. We ask for a minimum of three days’ availability each week, and when you commit to dates on the rota it’s really important that you stick to them. Because our busiest times are late evenings into the early hours, we recommend that new girls are available during those peak hours to get the most out of working with us.

What’s your favourite part of working at Olivia James?

Honestly, it’s the variety. No two days are the same, and I love being able to match clients with the right girl for what they’re looking for. It feels good knowing I’ve made someone’s night easier, whether that’s a client finding their perfect match or a girl getting a booking she really enjoys.

What is one thing you'd like to say to our clients?

I am not an escort. All jokes aside, I get asked by clients to meet them all the time! Honestly, I get asked at least once a week if I’m available for a booking. As flattering as it is, I have to say for the hundredth time I’m only the receptionist. My job is to look after the girls and make sure clients are matched up properly, not to take bookings myself. I’ll take it as a compliment though.
